With just one week left to go in the third phase (Armstrong) of our incentivised testnet (Project Artemis), this is the final chance to join and claim some of the juicy rewards on offer. We began Armstrong on the 6th of December and are marching towards our final tests and mainnet launch early next year. Validators can join the testnet, try out our engaging tasks, and earn substantial rewards now.

The Armstrong phase comprises several tasks for developers and validators on our network. These include trying out our NFT module functionality, jailing and unjailing validators on the network, voting on governance proposals and others.

Each task carries generous financial rewards paid in CUDOS tokens. So go ahead, and look at some of the completed docs for the tasks and the attached prizes here.

The collective aim of the Phase 3 tasks is to subject our network to a series of adversarial stress tests, preparing it for the mainnet launch and bringing a more diverse range of transaction activities to the network.

September saw the launch of our incentivised testnet, Project Artemis. The first phase (Apollo) attracted thousands of validators and developers, enabling us to draw insights from the constant feedback from our growing community and helping to enhance our network.

Apollo’s success set the tone for the second phase (Buzz) of the testnet, which saw significant upgrades to the network and the inclusion of an NFT module that prompted a network-wide hard fork. The second phase was successfully concluded on the 26th of November, clearing the path for the ongoing Armstrong phase of the project.

We will distribute rewards to whitelisted validators who completed tasks during phase 2 over the coming weeks following a review process. Developers and other validators will receive rewards after the mainnet launch next year. Here is the list of all developer winners who completed tasks and earned rewards during the first phase.

Last chance to join the testnet and get rewards

With just one week left of Project Artemis phase three, this is effectively the final chance to join the testnet. Overall, the testnet exercises have been both financially rewarding and highly educating. Many tasks are fully documented, so even if you are a non-professional developer, you can take a look to see if you can learn the ropes of smart contracts and experiment with blockchain. So dive in!

How to join and get rewards?

You can get involved right away by following the links below:

Also, you can join our bounty program, where we will be offering financial rewards for successful attempts at exposing lapses in our network’s security infrastructure.

Lastly, if you already have CUDOS tokens, you can profit further by staking them on our platform to bolster our network and, in return, receive rewards.

About Cudos

The Cudos Network is a layer 1 blockchain and layer 2 computation and oracle network designed to ensure decentralised, permissionless access to high-performance computing at scale. It enables the scaling of computing resources to hundreds of thousands of nodes. Once bridged onto Ethereum, Algorand, Polkadot and Cosmos, Cudos will enable scalable computational and layer-two oracles on all bridged blockchains.
