After months of hard work, we are delighted to let you know that we’ll be launching our incentivised testnet, Project Artemis, in the coming weeks. The goal of this project will be to reward developers and other users of our network just like you for your valuable contributions.
Background
As you may recall, in May, we launched our private testnet, Cognitum, allowing us to refine our infrastructure and offering to serve your needs better. Then, in July, we announced our upcoming incentivised testnet program — Project Artemis.
The name of the project is inspired by NASA’s latest mission to return people to the moon. Just as this would be a significant milestone for humanity, our program is a massive step toward our mainnet rollout, and ultimately (we hope), a giant leap for the entire blockchain and cloud space.
Artemis will run in three phases, Apollo, Buzz, and Armstrong, focusing on different audiences or activities.
Participation
Project Artemis will be open to everyone. So, we’d love it if you could complete some valuable actions and tasks once it’s live. Don’t you worry, though. Regardless of whether you are a developer, a validator, or just a part of our ever-growing community, you will have the chance to contribute and earn rewards! Keep in mind, though, that since the tasks will vary in complexity, so will the rewards.
Who are we looking for
If you are an enthusiastic developer or a Web 3 native, we want you to join. Come and try, test, explore, heck… even break our network (if you can), and we’ll reward you!
How you can get your rewards
Simple — via a CUDOS airdrop after each project phase.
We’ll also need you to do a few more things to ensure we can give you your tokens in the airdrop:
- Create an account (Keplr Wallet)
- Follow @CUDOS_ on Twitter
- Send out a tweet using the following hashtags: #ProjectArtemis #Cudos
- Join the private testnet Discord channel
What’s next
Exciting times are coming! Stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks.
About Cudos
The Cudos Network is a layer 1 blockchain and layer 2 computation and oracle network designed to ensure decentralised, permissionless access to high-performance computing at scale and enable scaling of computing resources to 100,000’s of nodes. Once bridged onto Ethereum, Algorand, Polkadot, and Cosmos, Cudos will enable scalable compute and Layer 2 Oracles on all of the bridged blockchains.
