Here’s what we’ve been working on over the last 2 weeks.
Last week
Cudos Network
- We upgraded our testnet, including work with automated batches and updating and uploading guides and documentation.
- We updated and reviewed the Validators security best practices documentation based on initial feedback from Project Artemis
- We documented the basic network configuration fully.
- We created draft designs for the Mapping UI for new Cudos Account linking.
Tooling
- We added CLI improvements for Init and Compile commands to the deployment pipeline.
- We eased the development environment using devcontainer.
DApps
- We progressed with the NFT Minting module, making it CW721 compatible and removing breaking test utilities.
This week
Cudos Network
- We’re fixing bugs, including:
- investigation of the NaN transaction on Cudos Block Explorer
- delegating non-integer amounts of CUDOS in the explorer
- any other issues that may come from our public testnet
- We’re describing and deciding the basic network configurations focusing this iteration on gas.
- We’re researching immediate slashing mechanisms.
- We’re ascertaining the hardware requirements for a Seed Node.
- We’re deploying several completed tasks, including:
- update the Faucet error message
- investigate NaN transactions
- delegating non-integer amounts of CUDOS in the explorer
- We’re also doing design research and exploring potential Cudos Explorer improvements.
Tooling
- We’re working on nested dockers permissions.
- We’re working on the network topology JSON.
- We’re working on local node setup commands.
- We’re developing smarter key management for the tooling.
- We’re working on our testing framework.
DApps
- We’re finalising the NFT Minting module.
About Cudos
The Cudos Network is a layer 1 blockchain and layer 2 computation and oracle network designed to ensure decentralised, permissionless access to high-performance computing at scale and enable scaling of computing resources to 100,000’s of nodes. Once bridged onto Ethereum, Algorand, Polkadot, and Cosmos, Cudos will enable scalable compute and Layer 2 Oracles on all of the bridged blockchains.
