Cudos Labs: Testnet Development Update! 🧠 (26/08/2021)
We continued testing and researching the migration of the existing Validators and Delegators to the main-chain.
We added support for X <-> Y decimal digit token transfer in the Gravity bridge. (Note: We’ve briefly paused this due to the Cosmos software development kit (SDK) update as decimal reduction might no longer be required.)
We fixed the batches’ timeout calculation.
We calculated AverageBlockTime instead of using it from a parameter.
We started the update of the explorer libraries. (Note: This update will solve issues with the precision and visualisation of numbers in the Explorer.)
We updated the Faucet libraries.
We started updating the Cosmos SDK (incl.
Researched the Gravity Bridge slashing policy.
We researched the current state of Ethermint for feasibility.
We worked on integrating an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) module in the Cudos Network.
We’re finalising the Gravity bridge slashing policy documentation.
We’re finishing the explorer libraries update.
We’re making a final go/no-go decision on the decimal reduction.
We’re completing the Cosmos SDK update.
We’re doing final preparations and task divisions for the migration of the validators.
We’re finalising the Ethermint research.
We’re re-deploying the Testnet (incl. Gravity Bridge).
The Cudos Network is a layer 1 blockchain and layer 2 computation and oracle network designed to ensure decentralised, permissionless access to high-performance computing at scale and enable scaling of computing resources to 100,000’s of nodes. Once bridged onto Ethereum, Algorand, Polkadot, and Cosmos, Cudos will enable scalable compute and Layer 2 Oracles on all of the bridged blockchains.
